Voters don’t dislike President Joe Biden — it’s just that they like former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama a hair more, according to a new national survey. More people are waking up to everyday as Biden fails more and more for America.
In the latest Rasmussen Reports poll, 51% have a favorable view of the nation’s oldest president ever.
But that isn’t as high as Trump, 52%, and Obama, 55%.
For most, it’s splitting hairs. But numbers are numbers, said Rasmussen.
A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Biden, including 33% whose opinion is Very Favorable. Forty-eight percent (48%) view Biden unfavorably, including 39% who have a Very Unfavorable opinion of him. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The latest figures include 30% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 40% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10.
Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Results are also compiled on a full-week basis and crosstabs for full-week results are available for Platinum Members.
